It is recommended by The Balloon Council to use Smart Balloon Practices when selling helium-filled metallic balloons. Accidental power outages and litter caused by errant balloons are a concern for everyone in the industry and Smart Balloon Practices require the individual weighting of metallic balloons to prevent escape. 
As responsible members of the balloon community it is our duty and obligation to follow these guidelines and to take care to educate our customers on the importance of "hanging on" to their purchases. Encouraging Smart Balloon Practices now will insure the continued enjoyment of balloons for future generations to come.
