WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL BALLOON ASSOCIATION

The International Balloon Association (IBA) is a network of manufacturers, distributors, decorators, retailers, and entertainers who believe in keeping the Balloon Industry safe, financially sound and steadfast for the enjoyment of current and future generations. The IBA provides leadership and guidance on behalf of the industry.

Ongoing objectives of the International Balloon Association are:

To promote the many benefits that balloons provide
To represent the industry before government and regulatory agencies
To provide members valuable, money saving opportunities and benefits
To educate members on the proper use of products, skills, safety equipment & procedures
To serve as an information service center to its members and communities
To monitor trends and developments that may impact the industry
To search for new ideas that will affect its members in a positive and profitable way

Announcing Smart Balloon Practices Committee

IBA is pleased to announce the creation of a new committee called the Smart Balloon Practices(SBP) Committee. In keeping with the IBA Mission Statement to protect and preserve the industry for future generations, the SBP Committee will provide on-going support and assistance in promoting the practice of individually weighting helium-filled metallic balloons. State of the Industry Breakfast

Sixty-five industry members attended the IBA State of the Industry Breakfast held January 23rd at the Halloween & Party Expo in Houston, Texas. Attendees of the knowledge-networking event heard updates from IBA committee chairpersons and a presentation by IBA President Tim Vlamis on Growth Strategies for 2010: Bring the Balloon Industry Up in a Down Economy.
